This painting is inspired by Richard Wagner's cycle, The Ring. However, this is a cycle of life: Childhood, youth, maturity, old age.
This painting expresses the artificial way that we are born and grow up. Nothing is more natural than giving birth, and yet, today, it seems to be so controlled by the hospitals.
